This is just a suggestion. 

I can understand that the reason you include those thumb-nail images (in 
jpg format) was to minimize the download time as to tax the viewers' 
patience. However, my personal opinion is that thumb-nail images are 
simply too small to give viewers a "good" first visual impression. 
Perhaps, an image size of 160-200 pixels (in jpg format) is a compromise 
(please see my web site <www.onethought.com>).  

If people wants a enlarged image, they can then click of that image for a 
detail one.
