>Personal history of photography: I started with a 126 instamatic in the
late 1960's at the age of 8. My first love was and still is monochrome
images. Studied cinema in the mid-80's and got a degree. Gradually I
drifted back to still photography. Went back for a Masters degree in
visual studies in 1990-93. Studied with Nathan Lyons at Visual Studies
Workshop in Rochester N.Y.
preferred subjects: Aging cities, nudes, landscape.
>materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): Really I buy whatever
film that is cheap. That way I save money for IR! Primarily I have
shot the Konica 750 IR. I prefer warm tone European papers such as AGFA
Portriga or Forte Fortezo. >

occasionally 4x5.

aircraft from WWI and WWII. I build scale models of the classic fighters
and bombers, and go to lots of airshows. Also amateur astronomy and
archaeology are pursuits as time & weather permit. >
