For the Focomat 1c, Leitz sold both a anti-newton ring glass that
is placed on the bottom of the single condsenser, and a replacement
single condenser lens which was anti-newton ring itself. I have both.
I believe the Focomat 11c (larger format Focomat) is double condenser.
I don't know about the Leitz answer to this. Perhaps it's sandpaper?
Just joking....Talcum powder is the engraver's answer to the rings.
