- Personal history of photography

Since pre-teenhood (127 format camera was present from grandfather - still
have the negs I shot then (I have his Hassy EL camera now (plus others))),
commenced B&W printing as a teenager > 25 yrs ago, switched to mainly
slides/transparencies in 70s and 80s with some B&W (lots of negs with few
prints - too busy in graduate school!), Since '92 switched to color neg. as
primary photo medium (setting up a darkroom to do RA4 prints) - would like
to try printing color IR film processed as a neagtive ( have used IR slide
and B&W films in the past, the latter was Kodak 2424 in 70mm in my
Hassies.

    - preferred subjects:

Fish! Tons of scenics esp. up here in the north country

    - materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):

These days mostly color neg - many types (ie speeds and brands)

    - format (35mm/medium format/large format):

35mm (Nikons, Nikonoses) and medium format (Hasselblad, Rollie, Linhof)

- Other strange hobbies:

Scuba diving in the subarctic and warmer places too (of course U/W
photography) and fishing (still good in Alaska - for salmon and halibut)

- How did you find out about this list:

through the web

- Expand on anything photographic you like:

Looking forward to trying out the forthcoming E6 IR film - will try
process as color neg., I am also doing some computer work with photo CD's
mostly professionally related - integrating data with photographs when
making formal presentations - current project - computer-generated poster
using Pagemaker for presentation at the Second World Fisheries Congress
(less than 2 weeks from now), Brisbane, Australia
