Hmmmm. Now things are starting to add up about the U.K.! When I was in
London a couple of years ago a friend pointed out so called "Zebra
Crossings", areas of the road with special stripes where a pedestrian can
step, out into traffic and the motorist must stop. Some of these roads in
Docklands were  a bit busy, but each time my Yank chum stepped out, the
cars would miraculously stop. I was amazed, especially after living in New
York City! I now suspect they have those infra red cameras at the "zebra
crossings"!!
