Eastman Kodak info., other administrative questions...

     Hi all,

First, I just talked to a person who I call occasionally at
Eastman Kodak to ask about the E-6 IR film that is to be
released. He said that it wouldn't be the first time that
something was being worked on that the Professional Products
people (of which he is one) didn't know about. He is looking
in to it. At the moment, he said he is unaware of either any
new film or discontinuation of any old film (e.g. Color IR as
we all know & love it.) He said one thing that was odd, was
that even if his people weren't told about it directly, if there
was a new emulsion being prepared there would be field testers
out & about using it and he always managed to find out about
     that...anyway...

He also happens to be the guy one would speak to about preparing
a bulk order of a given emulsion in a given format. The reason
I know of him is that I have hounded him for over a year to give
me a better answer than "A cost-effective IR opaque paper backing
isn't possible" for why Kodak won't make their B&W IR stock in
120 rolls for me. I had gone through the trouble of finding enough
people to create a buyers consortium to afford a whole production
run, if only Kodak would have done it... it is not to be.

On another note, I was wondering if there is any way for the digest
version to efficiently edit it's contents as in the past two
issues, #9 & #10, there were 11 messages from the same person, all
were only a few lines and could have been reduced to one or two
     messages.

If this would be a burden, forget I mentioned it - this digest
is worth wading through redundant posts for.

     Thanks again,
     -Adam Klyce
