Ilford filter test

Hi gang,
Filter experiments with Ilford SFX-200, developed in ID-11, 1+1 solution
(according to Ilford spec sheet)
Test results:
No filter: ISO 200/24
Wratten #25: ISO 50-100/18-21
Wratten #29: ISO 50/18
Wratten #70: ISO 50/18
Wratten #89B: ISO 50-25/18-15
Wratten #88A: ISO 9/6
[For a conversion table of Wratten with B+W and Heliopan, see my homepage:
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm]
Note that the first and fourth result comply with the official Ilford
recommendation.
Other observations: apart from the higher sensitivity, the SFX is
very close to the Konica. A tad more grain, but also a tad better contour
sharpness. All based on this first stage of testing, a second run will
involve darker filters and longer development, since the dark filter
shots (89B and 88A) already result in noticeably less contrast.
That's all for today!
