This is the first, and thusfar ONLY reaction I got, so there is no further
interest in either table and/or Gallery?.....

I have pointers to various 'gallery' sites on my own Gallery web site. The
gallery doesn't need to be anything more than virtual of course ...
although this doesn't address the issue of people who don't have web space.
So mail me pointers to anything I should check out and include. Most of
you chaps are there of course (except Willem ... some day we'll get to see
his pics). A secondary issue is mirrors. transatlantic bandwidth is
getting better but I still seem to get better performance with sites over
here than over there, despite the fat pipes.

The site is at http://www.demon.co.uk/atsf/ilight/

.. but you know that anyway.

I use a facility in Harley Street, called Argentum, to process colour
Ektrachrome (when I shoot it, which isn't often). It *does* come out a
teensy bit contrasty and always has; and the latitude is poor so I often
lost either highlights or shadows. I assumed this was a function of ye
olde technology. I tried to photograph a rape field but the yellow flowers
came out so bright in IR that they white-crushed. I can let you have the
address for Argentum if you want it. My usual advice on this (when asked)
is to check out your nearest big hospital ... especially if it has a
dermatological unit. The hospital may have a photo lab and they may be
able to do E-4 because of the use of colour infrared for skin-disease
diagnosis.
