First: I did use TTL flash with my #70 filter, @400ASA.
But for darker filters I am still pondering whether it is safe to
compare the normal TTL light meter and the TTL flash meter inside a
camera. The flash sensor is a separate cell in the floor of the
mirrorbox that 'looks' at the film plane; the normal light sensors
are either high up in the prism or embedded in the floor. The latter are 
likely to have IR-block filters, the flash sensor perhaps not....

BTW, in the Dutch mag Foto+Doka they refer to an English mag, "in 
which they got good results by setting 25 ASA and using a 87A or 88"
I am not sure what they mean with 87A, since this is the darkest 
color in the Wratten system....hardly convenient normally, and 
definately worlds apart from 88 in regard to film sensitivity.
Considering normal red comes down to a 50ASA or so, I guess the
25ASA was ment for the #88 color. But one can hardly call that 
invisible flash, which they *do* refer to in the article....
