Availability of SFX seems to vary a lot.
I found it at Rainier Photo in Seattle, WA, last Spring,
and it's in stock here in Portland, OR (USA) at
Pro Photo now.

It has very interesting tones
without a filter, and a less dramatic infrared
effect than the Konica with a red #25 filter.
Grain is comparable to Konica in 35mm format and
much finer than the Kodak HIE, in my limited experience.

Tomorrow, unless I get stood up again :-( I'll be using
it in the studio (flash) to photograph two models
who are heavily tattooed. I'll also take them outside and
shoot some Konica 120 if weather permits. I'll report
on how things turn out.

Here is some information/advertising from the Ilford fact
sheet for SFX 200:

" * Good red light speed: increased versatility and
        creativity
        * Good latitude: increased first time success
        * Medium white light speed (ISO 200) : can be used
        without filtration
        * Pushes well: can push up to ISO 800 (no filter)
        * Quality negatives: moderate contrast, unlike other
        extended red films
        * Good sharpness: distinctive grain with low flare
        * Reliable supply: readily available throughout the
        year"

"SFX 200 is a medium speed black and white camera film for
creative photography. It has extended red sensitivity (up to
740nm) and is especially suited for use with a filter to
create special effects...."

"SFX 200 is coated on 0.125mm grey acetate base which gives
good halation protection...."

"SFX 200 has peak sensitivity at 720nm...."
