The problem is not the quantity of mail (30 postings _each day_ is a bit
exaggerating though....;-)), but the way you manage it.
There are two ways to make reading mail a whole lot more convenient:
- Switch to the digest (see your welcome message from listproc, it
also tells you how to unsubscribe automagically; I will post it to
the list again today)
- Use a smart mail client. If all your mail ends up in one generic
folder, you are doing things wrong. Modern mail clients can filter
incoming mail to their own folder, by looking at the header of
messages, and selecting on "Sender:", "From:", or "Reply To:"
Try Pegasus/WinPmail (have it, love it, wouldn't know what to do
without it (I get 200-300 emails each day!)), Eudora (Pro?), Agent,
and many more.
Maybe I should include this in the welcome message as well, before
people will unsubscribe....:-))
