I have begun to consider the WWW as the ultimate digital output device for
"printing" images. It's cheap. You can do it with a modest computer (since
web images are quite small a 16 MB machine is adequate) and a whole lot of
people can see the results!
I'm working on my WWW pages now -- no IR images yet -- I just have to get
them onto a server. (In their wisdom my University has decreed "No Personal
WWW Pages or You're Fired". No, I'm not kidding. Everybody else in the
organisation can put stuff up, but not us in the computer division!
