Hot-Climate foliage

Re: the reaction of hot climate verdure/foliage to IR, I have some shots
taken in Cuba on my site (http://www.demon.co.uk/atsf/ilight/) including a
palm tree (which goes delightfully fluffy) and some Yuccas (I think) which
end up looking like Ken Dodd's tickling stick. This is a cultural
reference to to a very funny northern-English comedian who used to (and
probably still does) wave a stick with feathers on it about and say 'How
Tickled I Am' and also successfully defended a nasty and very public action
by the UK tax-man and so became a folk hero. I have no idea about the
appearance of Ken Dodd's tickling stick when photographed with HIE.

But I digress.

(You don't say)

Andy
