Books on Infrared Photography

There has been discussion on text available on the subject of infrared
photography.
I was able to locate a book thru a book locator service here on the Internet. 
I happened to use key work "Infrared" and came up with the following title.  I
have not obtained
the book as of yet and was thinking of ordering it.

The title is "Photography by Infrared: Its Principles and Applications" by
Walter Clark (1947).

Before I part with $45. I wanted to see if  anyone has read or have an opinion
on this book as to whether or not it would be a good reference book to keep on
hand ?
