Tom:

The Konica 750 film is merely an extended red sensitivity film and not
capable of capturing the truly infrared light that is present in the near
infrared range. Only Kodak HIE is capable of doing that. I tried using
Konica 750 with the 87 filter at one time with the same results. This
was early on in my experience with infrared and before I got wiser in the
ways of the unseen light we all love and want to get to know better.

My advice to you would be to stick with the red, yellow, and orange
filters to work with the Konica films. But remember for the pleasure and
ease of loading and unloading in subdued light and the other freedoms
from the woes of HIE there is a price to pay. That price is the light,
or I should say UNSEEN light, you are losing by using an XRS type film.

Hope this helps.
