Hi Steve,
I have read some of the replys you have received and they have prompted
a question of my own. I have been using Kodak High Speed IR B&W for 7-8
years now and I always use an ISO 50 setting with good results. I use a #25A
red filter and
bracket exposures around 1/250 and F11. I see many responses have indicated
an ISO of 200 or 250. I am curious as to the discrepancy in settings. Can
any of the other IR experts provide some information on this? I thought that
Kodak recommended an ISO 50 for sunny/outdoor shooting of IR. I may not know
all the technical details of the film, but I do enjoy its unique quality and
challenge. I use the "focus in the front third" of the image rule. It also
helps to shoot wide angle to increase your depth of field.
I'm glad to have found this list. I hope to learn a lot more about IR.
Hope you have fun discovering it too.
      Linda M.
