I own the Pentax spot meter, have used it extensively for 2 or 3 years &
have been very satisfied with it. I obtained a Zone System sticker for it &
it as well has been helpful. I have not used the Minolta meter, but
presently own a Minolta IV F & have always had problems with it. I
understand many people have had the same problem as me, so I would be very
aprehensive to purchase another Minolta meter. Also, for precise metering,
Calumet (who has since bought Zone VI) can modify the meter if you do
primarily B/W work for more accurate exposures.
