On the question of whether TTL meters will meter IR light:

There are two ways to approach this question:  The first is to ask the
person who built the meter if (A) they even considered IR radiation, and
(B) what they did about it.  If the answer was that they picked a photo-
diode that doesn't go very far into the UV or IR, then used blocking filters
to REALLY cut it short, then no, chances are THAT camera with THAT meter
