Russ,

After re-reading your post I realize what you are saying.  Yes, I am aware of
the fact that you do not shoot at a s/s below the focal length number of the
lens you are using.  I practice that all the time.  For some reason, I was
under the impression that the meter
readings go out the window and should be ignored.  Thanks for setting me
straight.  I think now I can go forward and get some nice images.
