It can. But I couldn't see much relationship between some that
purported to relate to the same film.
BTW, I'm really enjoying Walter Clark. Some of what he says is such
ancient history, and then all of a sudden he'll do something like lay
the groundwork for nightscopes. What he has to say about sensitizing
dyes is particularly fascinating in explaining the weird shapes of
sensitivity curves--for IR films in particular. I trust you've noted
the English/German terms for various dyestuffs on p. 84--didn't you
have a question in that area a few weeks ago, or was that do do with
respective chemical nomenclature?
