     I suggest starting with something like a 75 or 80mm lens.  You can do
35mm and  6x6 with one of these, but can't do 6x6 with 50mm.  Then if you
feel the need to make larger prints from your 35mm negs, then add a 50mm.
     I also recommend a dichrioc head even For B&W.  Locally you can get an
Omega C760 dichro for aronud $300.00.  Neg carriers are about $35.00 each.
     Also-It might be a good time to start saving glass bottles.  Gallon
size cider and wine bottles are usable if you are careful with thier lids. 
I use 46 oz. Tropicana Twister bottles for print developer after mixing
1:2.
