Speaking of Halloween I had an interesting experience shooting weekend
before last. I was in a cemetery near the Smoky Mountains. A place called
Walland. A black cat came running up to me and was really friendly. He or
she followed me everywhere. The cat would jump on top of the grave markers
lying with his paw down over the inscriptions. At times he would rub up
against the sides of the markers and at one point seemed to be smelling
the flowers that were in a vase. I got several shots, but sorry to say
they were not IR. It was a rather strange thing..being almost dusk, and so
near Halloween. Wish that I had been using IR that day!
