I hope I didn't say that.  You certainly do need to increase your
development time when using a more diluted version of a developer to get
similar resulta.  I'm forgetting the thread, but I do use D76 in both
stock and diluted versions.  "Generally," I use stock for 4X5 and 1+1
for 35mm.  As I use tubes for the former and a tank for the latter,
there is no meaningful comparison, as the agitation is completely
different.  

What did I say that gave you the impression that the development time
was the same?
