There's the problem.  You're comparing the time I mentioned for D76 1+1
with another's time for D76 stock.  You really can't do that.  The way I
develop HIE may well be completely different from how Kodak does it, and
the results I look for are certainly different.  This is why I point to
my Web page when I make these suggestions.  If you go there, look at the
results, and realize that that isn't what you're trying to do, then
certainly don't follow the suggestions.  I started working with HIE by
following Kodak's instructions, but quickly realized that I was trying
to do something totally different, thus my departure from their
suggestions.
