SFX200--Studio Magazine Review

Just got the October 1996 issue of Studio Magazine, and on page 40 there's
an article by George Schaub called, "A New Breed of B&W Film," all about
Ilford's SFX200.
He says, "the film delivers a unique image record that is akin to infrared,
yet is a fully panchromatic emulsion that can be used without filtration as
well."
"The film has just the tweaking required to deliver exceptional pictorial
images without the obvious mark of the infrared . . . however, SFX200 does
not deliver the true eerie glow associated with infrared, which some might
consider a loss. It's somewhere between the panchromatic and infrared
response."
Range of the film is around 720nm. Ilford recommends developing in ID-11 at
68 degrees F for 10 minutes.
Two sample images were shown, but neither look like infrared to me.
