Captions and the Gallery

Hallo all,

Next is a part of an Email conversation I had with Bob Long on the subject
of providing technical data next to the images in The Gallery:

> Would it be possible, without putting undue strain on you, to add
> captions to the gallery pictures?  That would at least give some idea
> what people are doing (as well as a better understanding of the
> subject matter) and leave the visitor to apply or ignore the specifics
> he finds there.

.well it's already there; if you jump from the name to the name with the
thumbnails; clicking on that name will give you (if provided) the details. 
Probably I'll have to state that more clearly in the introduction. A
better solution is to have the captions under the image, clicking on that
caption gives you the details; I did that for the first submissions of
Russ Rosener and George: but this means I have to create 2 additional HTML
pages for each image, a bit too much.. 


So I hope that everybody can find the details (if provided ofcourse)
