have you ever used derwent pastels and had them scratch the surface of the
print? I use peerless watercolors as well as the  wc pencils ..peerless works
great with luminos papers. I also use acrylics, some lumenescent colors are
 very interesting.
How do you apply your oils? with toothpicks covered with cotton?  Another oil
that is very good is Pebeo if you haven't tried that..lydia
