See! Someone out there IS awake after all! ;->>

To find the book would require an archaeological excavation deeper than
I can make tonight, but I have a copy of a pamphlet by a japanese
photochemical trade group which lists, among Konishiroku's products,
Konica IR750. It was available then in 35mm cassettes and bulk and
in 120 rolls!

My God! I just found it! The publication is called "Photographic
Sensitized Materialsd of Japan" It was published for the Ministry
of International Trade and Industry by the Japan Chemical Exporter's
Association. On Page 59, under Konishiroku, it says:

Film:

Sakura Infra-red 750u (micron) Size: 120, 135

Further down it says:

Dry Plate:

Sakura Infra-red

The only date in it is in a review of the japanese motion picture
film business in 1958. I would guess by the photography in it
that the book dates from noit later than 1960. That makes Konica
IR750 not less than 36 years old, and probably older, as it is
not mentioned as a new product or technology in a book devoted to
just that.
