To list all inbetween colors:
#8 yellow
#12 medium yellow
#16 dark yellow
#21 orange

I only used #21 thusfar, but I agree that less orange could improve
the color contrasts. But Cokin only offers #8 and #21, but recently I did find
a solution for #12 and #16 in Cokin-P resin.

Note that this film reacts very strongly to minor spectral changes,
simply because it hasn't a continuous sensitivity as normal slide
films. So filters differing by 50nm can yield effects much stronger
than on normal film.
My reason to go with #21 back then was that #8 was way too blue, very
cold slides....<yuk>. But #21 almost spoils the image again with an entire
orange cast. Very picky film. Hope to run some tests this winter with
#12 and #16.
Oh, and my EI was 100 ASA (sorry Joe....;-))
Most literature indicates 125 ASA btw.
Bracketing should definately not be as strong as with HIE, as slide
is much more sensitive to correct exposure. Luckily it doesn't react
as much to IR-differences, since it records most of the spectrum when
using an medium yellow filter.

I believe some, or most, of Jesse's formula's are listed in one or
more articles on my homepage:

One formula that still has to be added is a formula to develop IE as a
negative film, according to my German literature with good results.

Beyond that, bio- and medical universities and research centers
should be able to process this film, and might be willing to help
you. And I am sure there are several people on the list who can point
you to commerical lab's in Canada as well.
