I really appreciate the quick response to my question! I'm still a bit
confused. Joe, you state an EI of 200, but then qualified it by saying that
it is because you also use a polarizer (boy, I can just imagine the new
thread that THIS is going to start! <grin>). If I simply meter TTL with an
orange filter on the lens (see next point) and no polarizer, should I still
set the camera meter to 200?
Also, I checked to see the filter that I'm going to use. Turns out that it
is labelled "O2" and looks orangy (it is a "no-name"). Does someone know
the Wratten designation for this filter?
Finally, I HAVE used colour IE years ago (>20) but don't remember the
details, except somewhere I have a neat self-portrait. I do recall that I
used it on the sunniest day possible, as this is how I did my B/W IR work
back then. In recent years I have learned to appreciate the look of B/W IR
on cloudy, dark days. How does colour infrared handle cloudy skies?
