So was I, but for a rather different reason. The historical article
seems to contain some dubious research. In particular, I find it
quite difficult to believe that an Arab who invented a way of
examining a solar eclipse by cutting a small hole in a tent and then
providing a white surface for the sun's image to form on would name
his invention in Latin--as a camera obscura. And how can the camera
obscura have been his invention when, according to at least one
encyclopedia, it existed in ancient Rome a millenium before the Arab
was born?

In other respects it looks as though the magazine might be somewhat
interesting. But not very.
