Development times for HIE with Windisch Modified Pyrocatechin

WJ's Photo homepage has an article for development of HIE in Windisch 
Pyrocatechin formula for a decrease in grain.  I purchased a kit of the 
modified version of the above from photographers formulary and would 
like to know if anyone has any experience using this with HIE.  If you 
do what EI would you recommend using and what development times should I 
start with.  I will experiment but would like a starting point.
