I am not sure about the rare, but I doubt they will be expensive
just because of this focus correction. This fact is just too little
known; I only know because Joe Berenbaum (not on the list for the
moment) pointed me to a chapter in a Rollei book. I doubt it is
known beyond the level of people who read this book.

Have you checked the IR panorama's on my homepage, made with a
Horizon 202?....;-))

And why not use a small aperture, since you are using a tripod
anyway? Or are these long tele panorama's?
And regardless of that, you still end up with focus 'jumps' at the
edges, right?
