I haven't found any advantages, though Kodak's film is more attuned to
my work. SFX2 goes very little into the IR range and has less latitude,
i.e. less room to do different thing by exposing at various speeds. It
contains an anti-halation layer, so if you don't like the "halo" effects
then this may work nicely for you. Also, if you think that HIE is too
"harsh" with it's IR effect (which can be "corrected" by using a yellow
filter) or is too unpredictable, then this may be the film for you. I
was underwhelmed with the film, but give it a shot and decide for
yourself.
