I do!....:-))
Not by choice though, but there is no other way when using a 200mm
+ #87C on a ski slope....8-))
Note that this only works when mounting such a filter behind the
mirror (in my case between the film rails). Any other position of the
filter requires a tripod anyway....
PS: I discovered that not all camera's can take such a filter; some
film rails are completely flush with the shutter opening, without any edge to
make the setup light-tight.
My EOS-1 has a very thin edge there, about 0.25mm at most, but
sufficient to make it work.
Would be interesting to hear about this for other brands and
models....
