The only IR film available in that format is Konica IR (some examples
can be seen on my page). It is a slow (I shoot it EI8), relatively
fine-grained film that is quite nice when developed in Rodinal. It
doesn't go nearly as far into the IR region as Kodak's film, but is
perfect for those images where you want a little something extra without
the "obvious" IR effects.

Perhaps you are referring to the halo effect? This is caused by Kdak's
lack of anti-halation layer and will not be available with Konica's
version.
