Kodak's Web Site
Dan Cardish wrote:
I've always had problems finding things at Kodak's web site. I've seen URLs
leading me directly to documents on their site, yet when I try to find the
documents on own I have no luck.
AFAIKT the Kodak site builds a lot of its pages on the fly (something I
have just started trying to do ... it's fun) but this means that simply
entering the URL may not work because the original page from which the link
was made might also have passed parameters which do not appear in the URL.
As the server can also determine the 'referring' page it is also possible
to configure a system to reject accesses that are not from internal links
.. for whatever reason.
I'm not saying this is your problem with Kodak but I have also found sites
where simply jumping in with a URL didn't work but following links on the
site to the same URL did work.
