She refers to a thread in the past on this list (you must have been
around here too at that time), where I confessed that
'infrared-photography' was not covering the entire scope of this
list, but I was too darn lazy to type "infrared-and-ultraviolet
photography' every time....8-))
The subjects are rather close at least technically, and it is nice to
have even nuttier people around to give us IR-nuts a sense of
normality....;-))

Hand coloring is fine with me, I guess HIE deserves it more than any
other film, by the sheer amount of white it provides.
Btw, one of the latest additions to the IR-picture-site list on my
homepage (think it is Neil Coven's page, not sure), has a nice
Charles Dickens like picture online. Recommended!
I guess it requires a good eye to see the HIE in there, but it does
give a nice subtle catch to the picture, not obtainable otherwise.

Sure, no need to vote on that.
Without humor one should not be allowed near a keyboard....;-))

My only concern is that people start unsubscribing because the S/N
becomes too low. That's where I draw the line. But that goes as much
for unneccessary quotes as for off-topic messages.
Just keep in mind that there are people in less Net-civilized parts
of the world for whom a low S/N ratio is a waste of money and
resources. Just remember them once in a while....
