Don, regarding your message detailing your lens flare problem......
In only a few cases have I experienced true flare due to sunlight
bouncing around inside the lens. As usual, this was due to pointing
my camera into the sun without any convenient tree limb, etc. to block
the sun itself. One of my many "gotta figure out"s in photography is
to successfully shoot with the sun in the frame without generating
flare.I see it in magazines, so I know it can be done.....
My last roll of HIE did show some unusual images that approach a lens
flare condition, but in most of the frames, I know I was not aiming at
the sun. In fact, quite the opposite; "by the book" with the sun to my
