Konica 750 and Wratten 87, blank frames, is this true?

I read somewhere that using a wratten 87 with konica 750 will produce
blank frames as The 87 Wratten filter spectral transmission curve will
show that this filter allows little radiation to pass to which the
Konica film is sensitive (dies out at around 800nm).

if this is the case what filter would be suitable, I figure the 89B,
what do you think.
