I spoke to tech guys at Kodak today. As far as the concerns a few have
expressed about the Kodak web site saying the new film processed in E-6 will
not produce expected infrared results-- don't worry. I was assured that the
results will be as before. However, Kodak recommends shooting the new film at
ISO200, not 100, with 2 stop push processing. They do not recommend shooting
the film at any other speed and they say it must be pushed processed. The new
film will be E-6 process only and because Kodak labs will not do a 2 stop
push it must be done by a lab that does E-6 and will push it for you. IT will
be out in July but I don't know the cost yet.
