Jonathan, are you at liberty to share with us some of
developing/printing information of that Ferdy's picture?  If yes, I
would be interested in the following:

a) What film used, what film developer used at what dilution, time &
temperature?
b) what paper & contrast filter (assuming VC) used, and paper developer
used?

Your willingness to share with us of your knowledge will widen many
readers' interest in IR, and we shall all be very appreciative indeed.
