I have been looking at the exact size of Kodak HIE in 70mm
perforated, vs a bunch of actual frame sizes in MF gear. The distance
between the sprockets is exactly 60mm....on some MF gear, this film
cut down to 60mm *could* work IMO. Might be neccessary to use
'spacers' to keep the film centered on the 120/220 spool, but that
shouldn't be a real problem. Film thickness however might (or better:
film thickness *and* the lack of a paper backing.
A frame counter window is a big nono of course.
