The web page talks of 1-stop (not 2-stop) push processing but leaves
unclear whether this is what Kodak recommends. I thought I'd seen
something there that suggested such a recommendation, but I can't now
find it in my printout. Since the EI 200 speed is repeadedly cited
for E-6 processing and that is the speed rating for normal processing,
it appears that push processing is not the recommended treatment, much
to my relief. But it leaves open why one would go for push processing
when standard processing appears to yield not only fairly high speed,
but high contrast and color saturation as well--higher than are
considered optimum for "scientific work." The push processing should
increase both, making the results potentially harsh and garrish.

I note one post on the Usenet referring to a rumor of a version that
can be processed in C-41. But I suspect somebody is just confusing
the new EIR with Kodak's new answer to Ilford XP-2. I see nothing
about C-41 in the EIR data sheet.
