Well, I can't speak to the Ilford or Agfa extended reds, but I did get
great results with the Konica. Much like Kodak HIE. %^)
I used a YashicaMat 124G, with a Rollei Infrarot filter. Exposed at
EI200 (with a three and sometimes four stop filter allowance for
an effective EI 25 to 50 on my meter, depending on cloud cover).
Developed in Xtol 1:3 for 18 minutes at 20c.
Looks a lot like Kodak HIE. But finer grained. And what about the
rumors that Ilford SFX was coming out in 120? How about Agfa?
Also discovered that the Rollei Infrarot cut-off lets essentially no
light through in the range that Kodak TXP (a panchromatic b&w) registers.
Exposed the heck out of my first roll of Konica 750 based on that little
experiment %^).
Anyway, I am also new to IR, and frankly rather a novice at photography
in general. But having a great time as I learn. So here is my bio.
