Me too.  Thank you.

The Greek letter (mu) stands for micro- and is frequently used (or
abused, since the abbreviation *should* be mu-m) to stand for
microns--or, more correctly, micrometers.  To add to the confusion,
most folks specify wavelengths of visible light and IR not in
micrometers, but in Angstroms (very old-fashioned) or in nanometers
(nm), which is accepted almost universally today.  (1 "u" =3D 1,000 nm)
I wonder why the report used micrometers/microns.
