Guys & gals, you all agree, you just haven't realized it yet....;-))
This is what Karin wrote, and it only suggests 1/125s @ f11 as a 
starting point, not as the Holy Grail:

I'll add my #87C rule of thumb: 1/60s @ f5.6-f11; f8 would actually be the 
equivalent of the above #25 rule of thumb, with this 2 stops darker filter.
