  I cannot remmember who the originator was, but I believe the suggestion
was on the list several weeks ago.  It was to cut a Kodak Wratten 87c
gelatin filter to fit behind the shutter on the inside back of the camera
body. The material is 75mm square, and in theory will make four filters
25x45mm.  Mine made three.  You make a blanket with some paper and cut it
with sharp scissors.  Then use scotch tape to hold the filter in place
between the film rails which are higher than the gelatin is thick so the
film never touches.  The filters are reusable, but should be handled with
care as cleaning them is difficult. 

The space to be covered varies in width (among my cameras about 1mm) so
measure to fit your specific camera.  The Kodak catalog number is 170 4030.
The material should be kept below 26 C and 50% humidity.  The material cost
about $35 in the US.
