Dwight,

Since neither the Konica nor the Ilford films are not truly infrared films
you should only use a 25a filter if you expect any type of useful image to be
present.  These films are both infrared-like films and should not be mistaken
for the real thing, HIE.

I know I have harped on this in past notes to other such questions; but, it
is the truth.

Quite simply...if you want infrared imagery then shoot infrared film.
 Period.  The much maligned properties that photographers complain about when
it comes to HIE is just the price to pay for the beauty that no other film
can capture.  The rewards are worth the effort and the attention to detail
you have to go through with HIE.
