Dan, I did not say in an earlier post that plus-x with a red filter looks the
same as Ilford SFX200. I said the Ilford film is not much different in
appearance, except that vegetation records somewhat lighter and skies a bit
darker. These are the results I have achieved with the film. As far as Konica
and an 87 filter, it is not recommended as the filter passes  wavelengths
starting at about  800nm and the film is sensitive to wavelengths up to
820nm. I didn't say it would not produce an image, rather that there is no
advantage using it over a red or deep red filter in terms of increased
contrast or enhanced infrared effects.
